So, today we are going to talk about one of the best place in India that is Jaisalmer.it is the golden city of India. It is the westernmost frontier of India; it is a part of Rajasthan. Jaisalmer is mostly famous for its medival time architectural and culture. It was founded in 12th century.

Jaisalmer Fort

Jaisalmer’s ethereal sandstone fort, which resembles a massive sandcastle rising from the desert, is the city’s focal point.It’s also home to numerous hotels, guesthouses, temples, handicraft stores, restaurants, and the former maharaja’s palatial palace.

Sam Sand Dunes

Hordes of people head to the famous and picturesque Sam Sand Dunes, around 50 minutes west of Jaisalmer, at sunset. Cultural performances and camel rides create a carnival atmosphere. you can stay in a unique Bunk at desert camp for glamping.

Gadisar Lake

It is a huge artificial reservoir. The lake is surrounded by several small temples and shrines, you can even hire a boat and have boat ride. The view is mesmerizing. There are numerous catfishes in river and during winters you can fin Migratory Waterfowl.

Jain Temple

One of the main attractions inside the fort is a stunning series of seven interconnected Jain temples that date back to the 15th and 16th centuries.Carved out of sandstone, the detail on them rivals that of the marble Jain temple complex at Ranakpur.

Camel Ride

A camel safari will also give you the opportunity to witness the rustic, rural desert life of India. Most of the tourists enjoy doing camel ride.Riding a camel can become surprisingly uncomfortable after a while. The best time is September to March.
